Australian Medical Association (AMA) - Release of the Informed Financial Consent Guide - Tuesday 22 September

The AMA wishes to advise that the AMA lead Informed Financial Consent (IFC) Guide has been updated with an additional 12 medical groups who have provided support by co-badging on the document. The Guide now includes a total of 29 medical colleges, associations and societies, which shows significant support across the sector for empowering doctors and patients in undertaking informed financial consent.

Please find attached the updated IFC Guide which will be released publicly on Tuesday 22 September. Also attached is an embargoed media release for your information. Accordingly, the co-badging medical groups may wish to prepare your own media responses and websites.
